Librovore is a portmanteau of libro (book) + vore (to devour), which is often how I describe myself when people ask what I do: Iβm a food writer, essayist, journalist, magazine editor, illustrator, film geek, and ultra-compulsive reader. My librarian knows me on a first name basis. Trust me: you want me on your Trivial Pursuit team. And I want to hear about what youβre eating and reading, or thinking about eating and reading, wherever you are in the world.
